Enrique (Kiko) Harney is a Student Affairs Administrator with a background in program management, educational event coordination, and student engagement. Prior to this role, Enrique worked with the Chicago Park District’s Outdoor Environmental Education program as a Program & Event Administrator for Nature Oasis, where he managed and trained a team of seasonal staff and coordinated up to 75 educational events annually, including field trips, community programs, and family activities serving hundreds of participants.

In this role, Enrique oversaw program logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination while maintaining program documentation through platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint and Excel. He collaborated closely with community partners, park district leadership, and educators to design and implement engaging educational experiences focused on environmental stewardship and outdoor learning.

Enrique earned a Bachelor of Science in Earth, Society, and Environmental Sustainability from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Michigan State University. A lifelong Chicago resident, Enrique is passionate about helping students navigate opportunities, fostering inclusive learning environments, and supporting initiatives that strengthen the student experience.
